We are using bluehost Hosting platform for this step by step instructions because we are using this platform for all our hosting needs. Bluehost is simply best available linux hosting for drupal. Bluehost provides simplescript facility and almost all linux based hosting providers usually provides simplescript facility.
1. Login to your cpanel account (hosting account) and in hosting control panel click simplescript icon as shown in image below.
2. On next screen go to content management section and click Drupal link. Here you can see drupal version also as you can see in image. Article writen time, simplescript showing drupal 6.16 as latest and popular version for installation. Simplescript automatically update software versions for installation.
3. On next screen click install button to start installation process as pointed in image. Here you can also see drupal current version 6.16 is stable version. On this screen you can also read drupal description, versions and license of drupal. You can also see links of drupal offical website, drupal handbook and support link for any type of suppprt. Even you can also import your existing drupal installation from other source. "But you use only import optoion if you have deep knowledge about drupal."
4. On next screen, you can see version of drupa you want to install. Even at this point you can change version of your choice. install latest 6.x version or 5.x version its depend on your choice. As you can see on image, I want to install drupal on root of best of finance 360 but you can install on any domain that assigned to cpanel or any sub directory of any domain. blue host provides unlimited domains thats why I can select. May be your hosting provide on domain option.
Make sure you have selected check of license agreement and than click complete button to finish installation. Next screen will show installation finish report with admin ID and password. drupal will automatically genterate strong main admin ID and passwrod for administration.
