IMCE module usage with drupal rich text editors tinymce, fckeditor, and others using WYSIWYG API

1. Go to admin --> click modules and than enable IMCE module.

2. To use IMCE with WYSIWYG API you need to enable IMCE Wysiwyg API bridge. Also install API brigge and than go to admin panel to cofigure IMCE. 

3. Remember you must need to install WYSIWYG module and any rich text editor supported by this module before above two steps.

4. Go to administration panel and click IMCE link and configure settings using below steps.

First setup profiles. IMCE by default provides two profiles User-1 profile for main admin account as first user of the site. and sample profile for general users. You can edit permissions of roles by clicking edit links infront of profiles names. You can also add new profiles with different settings.

Now you can also select role profile assignments. From drop down lists you can select IMCE profile for roles. You are free to select by remember don't provide edit and delete roles to general users. You must set permissions properly to save yourself from bad peoples.

Also set common settings.

5. Click directory creation tool link to setup director on your hosting to store images. Usually for drupal images directory exists under files folder.

Now your IMCE module is ready to use to upload images directory from your harddisk. Browse images and upload to your articles by just clicking IMCE button available on rich editor of your choice.
